Is There a Faster Way To Lose Weight?
It’s such a busy world out there that everyone is looking for a faster way to lose weight without having to go through too much hassle. Just remember that the weight you want to lose should be coming from your body fat and not your muscles.
So a more accurate question would be – Is there a faster way to lose more body fat?
Well, guess what? Yes there are ways you can lose more unwanted body fat and this article will try to explain some simple yet proven techniques to get rid of more fat in less time, because we all know how busy you are.
Drink more water as a faster way to lose weight
Water is the elixir of life. Water gives us life. Without it, we perish. The secret, however, is not to gulp down a lot of water in two or three sittings. You should sip water throughout the whole day. And because you are “sipping” water all day to stay hydrated, a secondary secret is to sip cold water. Why cold? Believe it or not, cold water forces your body’s metabolism to kick into high gear in order to regulate body temperature. So just by drinking cold water you can lose a few extra calories.
There’s even more benefits to drinking a little water throughout your daily routine. For one, it makes you feel fuller so you end up eating less resulting in less hunger pains. Just think of all the extra money you can save by not snacking all day.
Although it’s still best to just drink straight water, a little flavored water is ok too. What I’ll do sometimes is mix one cup of pure grape juice into a jug of ice cold water for a wonderfully tasteful drink without too much sweet.
Drinking 8 eight ounce glasses of water is the usual recommended intake, but what I like to do is fill a water bottle and drink about half a cup at a time whether I feel thirsty or not…speaking of which…if you actually feel thirsty than you are dehydrated and need to drink. Taking in too much salt, like from potato chips, can also do that to you.
If you are the type of person who would rather drink soft-drinks, beer, wine or other beverage instead of pure unadulterated water, then I’m not really sure what to say. You need to start changing your ways. I’m not saying that these other beverages are bad for you (in moderation), but I am saying that water is one sure method as a faster way to lose more weight.
Maybe you can start with just two or three glasses of water a day and then pick it up as time goes on.
A word of warning though. If you’re not used to drinking a lot of water and then start suddenly by drinking a whole gallon, your body’s electrolytes. As mentioned above, the key to successfully maintaining how well your body stays hydrated is to drink water slowly by “sipping” it. Think of it like starting an exercise program. Go hard core from the start and you will just end up heading for disaster.
Water is so essential for life that we can die without it in only a few days, whereas with food we can last for weeks.
As most of you also know, or should know, water also helps get rid of toxins from the body through urin and …hmmm…poop.
Eat more small meals all day to lose weight fast.
Eating five or six small nutritious meals throughout the day gives you a number of health benefits. Spreading your meals all day by eating every few hours maintains your body’s metabolism at a more efficient level. Because your metabolism is in full swing all day, your body will burn more fat and less muscle.
Conversely, when you don’t eat and then sit down to eat a large meal, your metabolism gets sluggish. It starts slow, then speeds up, then slows down, then speeds up again. This is just plain inefficient. If you end up skipping a meal because you’re busy, which I’m sure many people are, then your body will start storing fat instead of burning fat.
So avoid any eating patterns where your body is forced to defend itself by holding onto stored fat because it fears it may need calories in the future.
